If you attend one aesthetics conference in 2025, make sure it’s Wigmore Presents at the Royal College of Physicians, and from November 14, you can purchase your tickets with a 15 per cent discount, valid until 31 December 2024 from wigmorepresents.com or direct from your Wigmore Medical account.
As a future-focused, educational, innovative event, Wigmore Presents is the perfect place to learn the latest in the industry, meet colleagues and peers and gain your CPD points (in addition to a visit to the Wild West and the tastiest cheese board). The three-day conference has something for everyone in aesthetics, and we are very happy to announce our speaker list, which includes Dr Zein Obagi, in his only UK appearance, and an exclusive from Sebastian Cotofana.
Friday and Saturday will have talks across a range of topics from menopausal aesthetic patient, skin of colour, holistic aesthetics and microneedling, to injection techniques and the use of botulinum toxins. While Sunday’s Masterclass will be a wholescale review of regenerative medicine – see some highlights below, and overleaf for the agenda.
Improve your injection technique
Uncover a deeper understanding of anatomy to level up your approach to injecting
In a society where we acknowledge the dearth of regulation in aesthetic medicine, the major differentiator we have as clinicians (beyond our qualifications), is that of technical skill and knowledge to ensure the treatments we offer are as safe as possible.
The universally accepted truth is that anatomy is key. There is no such thing as too much anatomy exposure, so seeing cadaver anatomy and live injecting will positively influence the practice of even the most experienced aesthetic practitioner.
Join some of the foremost names in aesthetic anatomy for a pivotal session on current understanding of anatomy to inform injection practice. We will cover normal variants, understanding of existing structures and examine a new body of evidence to build our knowledge on how to inject.
There is not one ‘right' way to inject—but there is evidence for what is safe.
Skin of colour—a masterclass
Broaden your dyschromia knowledge, and learn how to provide optimal treatment for all skin types
Patients in aesthetic medicine are diverse, multi-ethnic and increasingly informed. Increasingly, we see patients from across the spectrum of ethnicity present with complex dyschromias and the conventional ‘hands-off’ approach is not good enough.
The treatment of skin of colour remains a difficult topic for many aesthetic clinicians, and often outcomes are less than optimal due to under treatment or the wrong course of action, leading to complications.
At Wigmore Presents, we are expanding our coverage on skin of colour into a masterclass, with a central session to elevate your knowledge of this challenging and essential area of practice.
Dr Mary Sommerlad joins us again in 2025 to headline a panel of rising names in the aesthetic dermatology sphere, to guide us through a comprehensive look at this vital aspect of skin health.
Consult, assess, treat
Our ‘blind date’ session uncovers the consultation process, allowing delegates to see in real-time how leading practitioners assess and treat patients
Back by popular demand! This extremely popular session returns to Wigmore Presents in 2025, and you are in for a treat!
Join international luminaries as they each offer their own signature treatment approach to one patient; what they see, how they seek the patients’ concerns, their clinical assessment and exactly how they would treat, step-by-step.
Audience members are invited to play along, and mark up their own 2D patient in their Workbook to see how their approach compares to the experts.
There is no one way to consult, assess and treat, and this lively interactive session is sure to spark debate!
